Love the Globetrotter & Mary Jane...most comfortable of all my shoes.
I have had secondary lymphedema in my right leg for about 10 years following uterine cancer treatment, but only diagnosed about 3 years ago. By then, swelling which had been limited to my ankle and lower calf, had begun in my whole leg so I was prescribed thigh-high compression stockings which help the swelling and make my leg feel better. But recently I had begun to find it more and more difficult to wear my “regular” shoes - typically sneakers in summer and low boots the rest of the year. I live in Maine and am pretty active outside (even at age 75) - so winter footwear is critical. I began looking for shoes designed specifically for people with lymphedema and other foot-affecting conditions, visiting many websites selling wide and/or somewhat adjustable shoes, but none seemed right for many reasons, including the fact that most are just plain ugly. Then I found Pandere. After visiting Pandere’s website many times, reading many reviews, I decided try the Globetrotters, thinking that they could take me from late summer into and through the fall and right into winter. It’s been several weeks since they arrived - I wanted to be sure how I felt about them before submitting a review - and I am liking them more all the time. They were comfortable right out of the box (and definitely NOT ugly; I have received many compliments on their unique style). They are proving to be more adjustable than I expected based on the website description (I particularly appreciate the ability to adjust the right and left shoes differently since my left foot is unaffected by lymphedema). I have fairly wide feet and have always needed a round toe box, but I also have very narrow heels. Far before lymphedema, this made finding good fitting shoes difficult for me. The Globetrotter’s adjustable heel option to the rescue! The Globetrotters are incredibly easy to put on and adjust; during the day, if my affected ankle needs re-adjustment, it takes only seconds to accomplish. Today is a mid-October chilly fall day here in Maine, and I put on a pair of thick socks over my compression stocking. The Globetrotters feel snug and very comfortable. I am looking forward to wearing them all fall and right into the winter, and I highly recommend Pandere shoes for anyone having issues finding good-looking, comfortable, and easily adjustable footwear that meets our "special" needs.
Shoes were too short and too tight.

Since this was your first order, we encouraged you to provide foot measurements so we could better advise you on fit or recommend an alternative. I see that you have uploaded foot tracings here. If you have measurements to go with these tracings that would be helpful and I can tell you if what we offer will or will not fit you. Glad to have a nice looking pair of shoes to keep my feet dry when I'm wearing my lymphedema bandages! They ran small for me. To be fair, I've basically worn nothing but Crocs for years, so I'm used to having a LOT of room in my shoes. I wear a size 11 women's and even though the agent I chatted with agreed that size would work, my toes touched the end of the shoe even without bandages. (I don't even like the toes of my socks putting any pressure on my toes) Customer service was super nice and immediately shipped out a bigger size for exchange. I wanted to be sure to have lots of toe room, so I went up to a 13 women's, and those fit well. The length on the larger pair worked well with bandages. Although I'm not used to "fitted" shoes, the width (with bandages) is good too. I am looking forward to trying other styles and colors!
Hello Pandere, I have had Lymphedema for more than 30 years in my right leg. It's hugely swollen and has changed my lifestyle in immeasurable ways, the worst change not being able to find sturdy, nice looking, comfortable shoes to wear. I used to be able to wear "normal shoes" on both feet but my right ankle and foot got so swollen all I could wear were Crocs until I couldn't even wear them anymore without going up several sizes larger. I began to search for shoes worried that I would end up wearing those ugly, clunky, monster, velcro sandal type "shoes" and thinking I'd never want anyone to see me in them! I found Pandere and Globetrotters and so far so awesome! The first pair I got were size 9 and my right foot just was too misshapen and large to fit comfortably and I couldn't wear them longer than 3 hours before they hurt and I had to take them off. It seems that I am one of those Lymphedema sufferers that have 2 different sized feet. I ended up getting a size 10 Globetrotter and when I put on the right shoe, size10 it fit like magic! The left shoe is a little too big, but I think if I wear 2 pair of socks I might be able to wear it instead of wearing 2 different sizes. I wish Pandere could sell mixed sizes but if not, I'll figure out a way to buy another 2 pair and mix them myself! You don't know how confident it makes me feel having a shoe that stays on my foot comfortably! I can drive much more safely, walk with more balance and they look cute under my skirts! I THANK GOD for the women who started Pandere!! I no longer have to worry about spending $$ on specialty shoes that looked awful and had no style! Thank you Pandere for enabling me to wear my first ever pair of boots as an adult ~~ and they are comfortable too!! If you're questioning whether to buy these, don't hesitate. You won't regret it! Thanks again ladies!! I no longer want to hide my feet :) and you can't put a price on that!!
I have been wearing the Globetrotters all winter for 2 winters in a row. I like them for a winter shoe because they are lightweight compared to an actual winter boot. They have a nice water resistant coating on them and they do great for my day to day activities in the winter.
They are great! So comfortable! Definitely going to buy more!
I love these shoes! Finally a shoe that fits my swollen feet all day and is comfortable all day. I love the fact that I can adjust the laces on the top as well as the heel. Fantastic shoes!
I have beautiful shoes that I can wear & walk with ease!!! I love these them! I was recently diagnosed with bilateral lymphedema, though my right side is a bit larger, & the only shoes I could get my feet into were my old hiking boots, but my feet began feeling squished in those too. I googled shoes for lymphedema, & thankfully Pandere was included. While waiting for my new Globetrotters to arrive, I had to go out in my slippers! These shoes are sooo comfortable! I look forward to going out & not having to worry about my feet feeling squished as the day wears on. I wear a women’s 9, & these are true to size for me. Thank you so much for existing Pandere!!!

My feet do NOT hurt! I am not counting the minutes until I can remove my shoes when I wear these shoes! I highly recommend them. I originally backed them on Kickstarter and purchased more as finances allowed. Wonderful for my hammertoe

My feet are very deformed from rheumatoid disease and it has been impossible for me to find any shoes that fit me. My Pandere shoes are perfect since they have stretch fabric where my feet and toes bend. They provide a wonderful supportive and protective sole. The shoe laces are very easy for my sore hands to take care of too! I LOVE these shoes and I have purchased them in lots of two so that I won't worry about wearing them out, I hope to wear these for the next thirty remaining years of my life! Your shoes are the"only" shoes that will fit my swollen foot and ankle/calf. I love that they expand where I need them to, and the toe box is nice and roomy. I bought my 1st pair of globetrotter trotters a few years back I think, and have worn them daily, ever since and they are still going strong. But then you had a nice sale on them, so I bought 2 more pair. I would be totally devastated if you stopped making theese shoes. They are put together so well, do exactly what they were made to do, and bring life back into people like me, who without your shoes would not be able to have much of a life outside my home. Thank you pandre, you are a wonderful company, who truly cares about your customers.
I bought these as a birthday gift for my brother. I had them sent directly to him. They arrived a few days prior to his birthday. My brother waited until his actual birth day to open them. He said that they fit great. He said that he has tried 3 different pairs of boots from other companies and none fit. This was the first time that he could easily slip his foot in the boot and actually wear the boots. He was thrilled. I explained that Pandere shoes and boots are for those that have issues with swelling feet. He said that he still had them on and was looking forward to wearing them all winter. He said that they were so comfortable. He was so happy with his new boots!

I loved the globetrotter so much I got a second pair! Comfortable for my "proto-hammer toe" and I can adjust the heel and the rest via the adjustable pull tabs and tuck in the excess so it looks tidy. Comfortable shoes for wandering about on gravel roads and also sight seeing in the city on a Friday night. I can adjust the warmth by changing my socks from thin wool to thick wool and the globetrotter quickly adjusts to keep my feet comfortable and pain free.

Very disappointed! It was advertised as very expandable for swollen feet. Not so! I can’t get into them! I’m keeping them in the hopes that my feet will shrink again after medical treatment.
Excellent short boot style. Rare in shoes for difficult to fit feet.
I ordered a pair of Globetrotter Shoes. They are extremely comfortable. Easy to slip on and off. I highly recommend them to anyone who needs extra room due to orthotics. Please make some Brown/black shoes. I will buy a pair. Thank you, DJ from Wisconsin.

Pandere shoes are amazing! I have severe rheumatoid arthritis that has deformed my feet and shoes are VERY difficult to wear since shoes do not fit. I've been searching for a shoe to fit my swollen foot for a few years. But have finally found it in the globetrotter shoe. I love it, it expands quite a bit, and my toes are no longer squished in my shoes. The shipping was fast, and customer service was very patient and helpful. I would love it if they made a winter boot that I could wear , as we have lots of snow and ice here in Michigan in the winters. I will definitely be buying my shoes from pandere from now on.

I love me new shoes easy to Put on and plenty of room for my toes. I will recommend them
Having an extremely wide foot as well as bunions, makes shoe buying very difficult. Just got these shoes so haven't worn them much yet but in the time I have they aren't aggravating my bunions at all. There is enough room in the toe box for my wide foot plus the material allows my bunions to spread with no discomfort. I know comfort should be the number one priority but I love that these shoes look stylish and are constructed in a way that allows my feet the room they need without making them look horrible. Waiting anxiously for more colors to be in stock!
I just want to tell you that your shoes are a God send. Due to arthritis my left foot is crooked with the toes bent to the left. As a slot attendant, I have to walk a casino floor all night as was in constant pain. You first styles were great but the wider toe style take perfection to a whole new level. Thank you so much. 💓

They can work for light-to-moderate wrapping, depending on total foot volume. The best way to know is to measure your foot while wearing the wrap and ask us — we’ll tell you honestly.

Yes — our interior volume often accommodates both swelling and an additional insole. Most orthotics fit best in our XW collection.
Yes — all closed-toe styles have removable insoles that lift right out (no glue or stitching). Sandals do not have removable insoles.
They are true to standard length sizing — but when swelling or foot volume is involved, size choice depends on more than length. If you give us your four measurements, we can recommend the correct size. (Note: our Mary Jane and Ballet run short — order two full sizes up.)
