Handcrafted in Portugal using only the finest, most durable materials, the Rambler is a supportive, extra-wide unisex shoe. Stylish and functional, this could be the shoe for you if you suffer from lymphedema, diabetes, bunions, plantar fasciitis, or any number of swelling-related issues or toe issues. This shoe can also accommodate some braces.

Pandere shoes are designed to fit real feet — including swelling, volume differences, and shape challenges. Instead of only getting wider, our shoes expand in the instep, forefoot, and ankle where swelling actually occurs.

Yes — our shoes are built for mild to substantial swelling within our expandable foot-volume range. If you’re unsure whether your swelling level is within range, chat with us or send measurements and we’ll help.

They can work for light-to-moderate wrapping, depending on total foot volume. The best way to know is to measure your foot while wearing the wrap and ask us — we’ll tell you honestly.

Possibly — some braces work well with our shoes and some don’t. Please take measurements while wearing the brace and chat with us — we can help determine whether the fit will work.

Yes — our interior volume often accommodates both swelling and an additional insole. Most orthotics fit best in our XW collection.

Yes — all closed-toe styles have removable insoles that lift right out (no glue or stitching). Sandals do not have removable insoles.

They are true to standard length sizing — but when swelling or foot volume is involved, size choice depends on more than length. If you give us your four measurements, we can recommend the correct size. (Note: our Mary Jane and Ballet run short — order two full sizes up.)
